Funny Story:
i have not had an episode in quite a while, but i use to sleepwalk eat all the time. i would get out of bed walk into the kitchen and and go to town on what ever was around. i usually would not realize what i was doing until i already had a mouth full of food. i would be like, how the hell? when did i get here? and why do i have a mouth full of peanut butter!?! one time i was crashing at a friends house and found myself in his kitchen with incredible hunger pangs. my stomach was hurting i was so hungry. i was semi conscious. i was awake enough to remember this but still pretty much asleep. i could not find anything to eat. i know i was out of it because it was pitch black and i didn't even think to turn on a light. i ended up finding some cheese in the fridge and some pita bread on the counter. growing up vegetarian, i use to love eating cheese sandwiches, so i was stoked! as i reached for the pita bread on the counter, i almost knocked a plant on the windowsill above, onto the counter. my friend had to be at work in a couple of hours, so i was glad i didn't wake him up. i began making my cheese sandwich. as i took my first bite, i knew something was wrong. it tasted awful! i realized immediately what it tasted like, potting soil! i figured i must have knocked the plant hard enough to spill some of the soil out of the pot onto the bag of pita bread. with the kitchen light still off, in complete darkness i figured i would just dust off the sandwich and it would be fine. it was not. it took a second bite and it was just as horrible as the first. i was sooo hungry i didn't care i decided to finish it anyway. i got up the next morning when my buddy was getting ready for work. i told him what happened the night before, he thought it was pretty funny. i went over to the plant i thought i may have knocked over, but it was fine. that's when i realized what had happened. in the light of day it was obvious. the pita bread i had eaten was covered in green mold! not just a couple of spots, it was all over. i almost threw up. from time to time i still taste that moldy pita bread i ate one night in the dark.
